Mark has been serving as a pastor since 1998.  Sharing God’s word with people and encouraging them in their faith is something that he is passionate about.  He’s married to Heather, the DCE here at Searchlight, and God has blessed them with 3 amazing young men.  He hopes to see you at church and get a chance to know you better!

Heather is not only the pastor’s wife, but she is a Director of Christian Education (DCE) that runs the youth, children, and women’s ministry here at Searchlight. If you have a kid from preschool to high school (and even into college), then you’ve probably already met her. If not, introduce yourself to her.  She’s always around on Sunday mornings doing amazing ministry.

Chris has served our church as a Director and Teacher for 45 years and has a loving support group of family and friends.  She finds great joy in affecting the lives of many children in the community with the message of Jesus’ love for them.  We are proud that our preschool has an excellent reputation in the community and we encourage you to call us or stop by for a visit.

Nicole has served as the church office manager since 2009. She makes sure all of the contributions go to the right place and ensures the lights stay on by paying the bills.  In the summer however, you can find her dancing and rejoicing right along with the youth for VBS and doing various odds and ends that week.  Please give her a call if you have any questions about contributions or church events, OR, she always welcomes a great discussion about anything Disney.

Ashley is our new DCE (Director of Christian Education) intern and recently graduated from Concordia University Irvine. She has a heart for caring for others and serving people of all ages. Ashley leads in many areas, from kids’ church to women’s Bible studies, and brings joy and dedication to everything she does. She loves building new relationships and growing the ones she already has. If you haven’t met her, please introduce yourself.
